How are you going to find Yang Yang's picture if you don't even know who he is? :p
LOL. We sure do have gender problems on this forum with names, like what happened w/ yy_ling, ppl thought he was a "she" 'cause of the "ling" part.

As for me, I've never met a pro before, the closest to that have been some Jr. national & former National players, like at Smash City, etc. But of course, it's still awesome to watch them play.:D

wow, ctjcad got it all right! this picture was taken at the TUC in japan, right after indonesia's quarterfinal against japan.

thanks to those to who responded, even though i must admit i expected a few more, knowing how many TH fans there are here.. =)

...could this be Ms. Lauren Todt??... ;) :D
Yes, it is Lauren Todt. :)

I believe she came to prominence in 2003 after winning the youth singles title at San Francisco's Bay Area Open, one of the more popular US tournaments. (I hope I've managed to upload a picture from that year.) Unconfirmed reports say that she did a training stint at the Anaheim facility outside Los Angeles. (Do Bach and Gunawan still play there?)

Her father, who is American, owns a badminton facility called Smash City . Her mother is Chinese, originally from Hong Kong.

As Lauren is only 18, we might see more of this girl in tournaments ahead. :)

..yes, she is one of the young hopeful player in the U.S.
Here is their club's BC/BF's link : http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=158
She also has a brother, Andrew Todt, who is also a very good player himself. Both often play XD as a pair..Mr. Jim Todt & his wife, Susan, are the parents..;)
As far as the Anaheim facility outside L.A., it's the OCBC :
