yay!! CTF - LWW won 15-13 15-7! It's very rare to see that Msia grab two men's titles these few years! Quite an achievement actually

Hi Kwun, I was just looking at the ranking list, and I am wondering if you can answer some questions:
1. If Choong/Lee emerge victorious, does this mean they will surpass Jonas/Lars?
2. Does the Olympics make use of the latest rankings (i.e the one that will take into account the Malaysian Open) to decide the draws, or the previous ranking used to decide qualification?
If I'm not mistaken, Choong/Lee should be second in the world ranking after Malaysia Open and therefore should get the second seed in the olympics...

The four top seeds should be :
1. Paaske/Rasmussen
2. Choong/Lee
3. Fu/Cai
4. Ha/Kim

Thanks Seven. This is good news as these top four pairs can avoid each other until the final stages... :)

OMG people!!! I'm gone from the comp for only half a week and look what has occurred!! I had the dissapointment of hearing about Lin's, Chen's, and Xia's failures on CCTV-5 news!!!!

Good news is Zhang/Gao have a legitimate chance this tourney to take their first in a long while.

GJ to the Malaysians on home soil. Dissapoint for the entire Chinese men's team.

Did you miss me while I was gone, Wilfred??? :D :)

In the men's singles, Chong Wei won 15-3 and 15-12, as stated in the news.
And our fellow mate reported that the Malaysian doubles won 15-13 and 15-7.Do read the previous messages for clarification.

I saw the winning badminton clips at the 8pm news over RTM and TV3. It was really short, but I caught a glimpse of singles and the doubles accepting their cheques. For those who missed it can tune in to Nightline at 12 midnite, TV3. ;)

How is this possible, if the list of players going to the Olympics have not been finalized yet?
