Japanese team bring their own JP strings BG66U 30-32lbs range, i'll find more next event.
This list surprised me a bit. A lot of the top tier players use BG65 and BG65 TI (lot more than I expected at least) and only three (in this list) use the BG80, something I expected more players may be using. I thought may be reason is that since these players use such high string tensions, they'll be needing a higher gauge string but lo and behold, the BG 80 guys are stringing theirs at even higher tensions![]()
Would like to know what strings/tension the Korean team are using especially LYD/YYS and also the top Chinese players.
I know Taufik Hidayat use BG66 UM (at 33lbs i think)
can someone tell me what is 30/32 means? is that 31 pound?
usually means mains 30lbs and crosses 32lbs.
Yup 30 lbs vertically and 32 lbs horizontally.
also what does main do and what does cross do? is main the most important than cross?
Just do a little bit of research in the forum and you will find this:

...and if you spend some time reading through, it will answer all of your questions.
And before we enter the same loop once more: No, it will not make that significant difference in generating power if you have 30x30 or 30x32 lbs. tension.
