Look for a headlite racket like MP66....Smashes good when used as surprise...Yonex when strung according to factory specs will last a long time but at higher tensions tend to break after few months. Be sure to string mains at lower tension than crosses....this will lessen the possibility of breakage of the racket...At your level it will not matter which racket you buy because you will be limited by your technique...Try the rackets of friends before you buy!

You might try the Yonex MP24...It is in your price range. It is flexible, good for doubles but can be used for singles too...Your best bet is to borrow one for a try before you decide..MP24 and MP22 and MP30 are all good racket choices for the money.

If your budget is tight, you might find a better deal with a lesser known (but still reputable) brand, such as Victor, Winex, SOTX, Kason, Gosen, Yangyang, etc.

It's harder to just select a racket with OTHER'S review, because whatever worked for others, might not work great for you. Visit local stores (reputable ones), and demo the rackets over there. You hand can give yourself the answer right away. ;)

I thought the more choices you give a shot, the better chance you come back with a good deal? But it's your deicision, which I totally respect it. ;)

you have to be more specific?

-do you like head-heavy, even of head-light rackets?
-do you like long or short rackets?
-do you like stiff or flexible rackets?
-what racket are you using now? what do/don't you like about it?

MP99 will be tooooo stiff for you....MP24 you will find will play better because you are not strong enough to use the stiff rackets and 10+ kilo stringing....off center hits with this set-up are not forgiving and results in weak shots...only when hit correctly will the stiff and tightly strung racket perform well....you will be much better suited to the MP 24 or med flex racket strung at 9kilo....when your skill level goes up you can go to stiffer racket. Borrow the MP99 and MP24 and try them in short game to 7 pts to see for yourself what suits you best...

i found the mp99 very easy to use, after i had only been playing for a small amount of time and been playing with a mp23. Thats what suited me tho....

it's better that you choose carlton airblade500. it is better to make drop shot or clear cause it has a maximum airspeed. it quite cheap.
