10 players pulled out from selection

Bellaetrix Manuputty, Achmad Rivai, dan David/Rio (Jaya Raya)
Sylvinna Kurniawan, Variella, Wisnu Haryo Putro, Nugroho Adi Saputro, and Luluk/Fitri (Djarum)

All 4 players from Jaya Raya are the Junior winner of 2005 National Championships in Bellaetrix (Girl's Single), Achmad Rivai (Boy's Single) & Rio/Davin (Boy's Double) and Sylvinna (runner up in Girl's Single).

    Seleknas Kurang Semarak
Jarangnya pemain pelapis dikirim ke turnamen internasional tak mengurungkan langkah 55 pemain muda untuk mengadu nasib menembus Pelatnas Cipayung. Namun, sebelumnya telah sepuluh pemain memutuskan absen. Pertanda daya tarik pelatnas menurun perlahan?

“Wah, belum tahu bagaimana.

(esi)

    Selection Winners :

MS : Bandar Sigit Pamungkas (Djarum)
WS : Pia Zebadiah (Jaya Raya)
    MD : Surbakti/Fernando (Djarum)
    WD :Shendy Puspa/Lily Siswanti (Djarum)
    MXD : Tantowi/Dining (Djarum)

16 players have been selected to be new Pelatnas players

MS : Bandar Sigit Pamungkas, Indra Bagus
WS : Pia Zebadiah, Aprilia Yuswandari, Yuan Kartika, and Febby Angguni.
    WD : Shendy/Lily and Keshya/Richie
    MD : Surbakti/Fernando dan Bona Septano/M. Aksan.
    MXD : Vicky, Devi

Just my opinion, I agree only Pia Zebadiah, Bona Septano/M. Aksan, Shendy/Lily plus younger generation Bandar Sigit Pamungkas & Febby Angguni.

PBSI should be considered to some players who couldn't play in selection because of injury and give places more for U-16 players.

Bellaetrix Manuputty got knee injury and I wonder why Achmad Rivai & Rio/Davin didn't play also.
Some players from Djarum also choose to stay in their club with coach from China, many potential under-16 players from there but they still represented by Bandar Sigit Pamungkas and Febby Angguni.

I just wish the younger players will be given more tournaments to play even if they are just small tournament such as Satellite events. The PBSI keep saying that they have enough money to send players to international tournament, but they rarely prove it. Wonder if what they say is true.

It seems PBSI only send young players abroad when they have exceptional, one-in-ten-years talent like Taufik (won the Brunei GP at the age of 15). They should be more reasonable and send the "less" talented youngsters as well. Just look at China, their youngsters have been groomed since young and given the opportunity to 'taste' international competition. After all, people learn from their mistake and the earlier young players learn from the mistake, the better it is for them.

Bellaetrix, Achmad Rivai and Rio/Davin moved to Banten and they had different sponsorhip with National players (Yonex) so they refused to play in selection.
