last Japan Super Series, China got 4 titles with 7 representations in semi. Astonishingly, there was 0 from Korea which used to be thought the 2nd power house just after China. Unfortunately, China seems still overwhelmingly dominating the badminton. Suprisingly, Denmark is the 2nd power nation in badminton. Even 4 representations. Clearly, Malaysia has only LCW to depend on. Luckily, LYD can play 2 categories for Korea. Hopefully, Indonesia can still be in the game. Obviously, Taipai and Japan have become powerhouses now.
2cents, I'm sure it's a lot of work to compile a YTD version. Thanks for this abbreviated one;it'll be a good base to build on for future tournaments. To no one's surprise CHN dominates.

Thanks AlanY for sharing it with us So far only eight countries/associations gain the chance to taste the sweetness of being champion... and that position will not yet change at this DO SSP. With regard to 2cents' SF tabulations, in Japan Open SS, the semi finalists came from 9 countries/associations; in Denmark Open SS Premier only 7 countries/associations make the presence. From these two tournaments alone, one may derive that the higher the level of the tournament (the higher its value), the more 'exclusive' the participants in the SF (i.e. less countries/associations make it).
Your summary is absolutely right. Terre is a China factor. China sent no one or second tier stringers to lower level tournaments, so there are three or four countries winning titles, such as India super series. China sent partial best players to regular ss, so china takes 4 out of 5 most of time. At most prestige world championship, china sends all with all efforts, they took all five titles. In Olympics, suffering from the quotes limitation, china has to let others to share 5 golds
