Whenever I read this thread ny heart saddens and I just felt like crying. Yes it is very sad indeed to see such a situation in Singapore. By the way if Singapore kept importing players from other countries instead of training or building up their own players, problem will still occur. Too many imported players from other countries have hindered the progress of badminton in Singapore. This is because these players do not come from Singapore. They just go to Singapore and study, so upon completion of their studies, surely they will go back to their original country. Singapore currently have many imported players from China, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. Sad to say the situation in Singapore has no improved till now.
