they likely got see this thread and fear of losing, thus they forced themselves to win, no matter what cost...

HSP back on his "my smashes not working, ahh I am panicking mode"? Anybody who witnessed the complete match can summarise? Thank you.
But to me, Saurabh's loss is more surprising

i don't think prannoy panicked, but he did make quite a number of simple errors. To be fair, he should have lost it in 2 games, he was down 18-20 in the second, so to me it squared up in the end. Lin played well and i think prannoy underestimated him as an opponent.

Sourabh Verma played awfully and complained all the time on line calls and being flicked a couple of times behaved like a histerical chick. no respect for this guy, hope to see less of him.

Prannoy saved 2 match points and took the game to 3rd game. He had 3 match points. But squandered all those before losing the match.

In an interview, he said that he has some issues. He is trying to overcome it. Don't know what he was mentioning about. May be about finishing off in these kind of situations?!

Sourabh, i don't know. He was totally pissed off by the line judges or something. He was complaining to the umpire and even at one point of time, he even called referee for complaining about the same when umpire called him fault at the net. He lost his patience completely. He is under severe pressure. When his younger brother qualified for World championships and even won a GPG title this year, he could not do it. That was clearly visible in his behaviour today. I never seen him so much frustrated for line calls before. He was one of the calm guys i have ever seen . Hope he improves his game in near future and forget about all other external pressures.

Hahaha well I can assure you he isn't like this, generally, of his previous matches are any indication/proof.
But yeah, if you have have an off day at work then you can get cranky and doubt and question everything that doesn't go your way. And when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Saurabh unlike many indian players is a very gentleman, even when he plays his juniors in national circuit.

Oh so HSP saved 2 MPs? and even after tasting his own medicine didn't pick up his pace in g3? When you are caught off guard you either streghten up your Armor or leave it there and completely destroy that of your opponent's.

Lee Chieuk Yiu played a strong attacking game to stun Hsu Jen Hao [6] 21-12, 21-19.
He is likely to take on Wang Tzu Wei in the final, another high ranked TPE opponent.

AUS pair Ser/Map is smooth and fun to watch. They are now leading by one set 25-23 against Zhou/Xu.

Wow, what an astonishing performance by Sawan Serasinghe/Setyana Mapasa. They're through the FINAL after defeating 2 Chinese pairs.

AND is it an early sign that no more Zheng Siwei/Chen Qingchen's successor even by Junior Champion they got?
He Jiting/Du Yue lost to scratch pair in QF then Zhou Haodong/Xu Ya stopped in SF

I don't think the CHN juniors already failed.
This is just one tournament and there are many scratch pair. Let's wait for at least a year to see how much they can do in the senior circuit.

Am I the only one having problem with Zhanyu tv? The octopus keeps moving its tentacles and the live video just will not come on.

In the third set, they became more proactive instead of just defending.
I think it is a good match between the two pair. Let's hope they can play better tomorrow.

    Ong/Teo beat He/Tan 21-19, 21-11.
Luckily, they managed to get the rhythm right at the end of set one. Their second ever GPG finals.

Try different sources and refresh the page.

Sportzone as a chrome extension works well nowadays, you can open a new tab, more than one, to watch different courts.

Thanks I did watch the matches on Sportszone lately. Just that I sometimes find some of the on-screen comments on zhangyu tv funny and witty.

Imo Saena Kawakami gonna be too hard for RI to crack, if she'll play like the way she did today.

I had just watch the match between Chen/Wang vs Haryanto/Isfahani and it was very interesting.
Plenty of adrenaline-filled action and great offensive/defensive move.
Chen/Wang is in a great form right now.
