Nice pictures! I have a question regardin the jersey they wear. I thought similar color jerseies (i.e. as both sides wearing mainly yellow, of course, different front) are NOT allowed in such a big event? I think such rule is set to be media friendly (i.e. not to confuse ppl in front of TV)?
Agreed. I felt frustrating when I turned on the Live streaming yesterday and seeing two teams wearing the same jersey, it does took me like a min to figure out what's going on. BWF should address this issue. Nice pictures btw.
i'm only guessing, since i couldn't watch it...but when a player takes too much time to start going agian...or keeps arguing a line call like we sometimes see...the ref can't just sit and take it...so he gives yellow/red cards...which would be less of a problem if there was some sort of way to develope a way to track the birds =\ or instant replay
very nice job as always, lurker! emotions and expressions are much more difficult to capture than action.
Peter Gade got the yellow card, because he kept arguing a line call. He apologized to the judge afterwards though.
TBH/KKK didn't have this kind of expression that's why they lost.. they're 2 tense and didn't enjoy the game
i didn't get much images of the lady players, but today i'm going to take more.. especially the Japanese WDs i was mostly at the side of the courts, sometimes at the longside of the court (in pics that you see both team) where choong haan and other commentators are working
Same thing happened in the Philippine Open Men's Double Finals. Gillian Clark was surprised that it was allowed, as there is a specific guideline from WBF that having the same uniform color from both teams should be avoided. (quoting her in context).
