    Can someone explain why Joko Riyadi is still playing for Indonesia?
    If the law allowed it, Candra Wijaya would have strangled him at the India Open :eek:

    joking apart, couldnt it be about time to have something like the Ryder's cup in golf with CHN against the rest of the world for the Sudirman and Uber Cups? May be not the Thomas cup just yet.

    They are splitted. Vita Marissa already quit national team.. the coach want Liliyana Natsir just focus on XD..

    the WD coach want LN just concentrate to play XD.. since she has the bigger chance to win title.
    I think LN pairing with Greysa Poli, they can be a good pair. they two are tomboys..

    Of course PBSI said they were thinking will used non pelatnas player. They didnot wanted to lost face if they said they will definitely used Taufik and probably Vita/Flandy in Sudirman Cup.

    Not to mention that Taufik and Vita/Flandy (If I am not wrong) are the only winner this year from Men Singles and XD for Indonesia . (From Indian Open)

    Meanwhile, pelatnas MS players still are not as good as Taufik and only Nova/Butet can rival Flandi/Vita skill in XD.

    Indonesia badly need for young promising players that can rise quickly in MS and XD. ( Hopeless for WS and WD)

    But you see, Indonesia managers are only about SAVING FACE. Even if our team got trashed 3-0 in final , its better than lost in Semi or even preliminary round if they use junior players in Sudirman Cup.

    Why do you think they still called Chandra Wijaya for playing Thomas CUp in 2006 and 2008 and not some junior players.

    At least if they reach final, they can say they at least had the same result and not lower than previous Sudirman Cup.

    So though I wanted they use junior players, they will call TH and maybe Flandi/Vita.
