Yup, also SIN team and most likely HKG team tonight when they will take on KOR. It's quite tricky in group 1C, hard to predict the result...
KOR v HKG => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...A573BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&match=18 XD : Ko Sung Hyun/Kim Ha Na v Lee Chun Hei/Chau Hoi Wah MS : Lee Dong Keun v Wong Wing Ki MD : Kim Ki Jung/Kim Sa Rang v Chan Yun Lung/Ng Ka Long WS : Sung Ji Hyun v Yip Pui Yin WD : Jung Kyung Eung/Kim Ha Na v Poon Lok Yan/Tse Ying Suet GER v TPE => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...A573BF77-2860-4DE4-A417-7DED98403934&match=27 XD : Michael Fuchs/Birgit Michels v Lu Ching Yao/Lai Chia Wen MS : Dieter Domke v Hsueh Hsuan Yi MD : Ingo Kindervater/Johannes Schoettler v Lee Sheng Mu/Tsai Chia Hsin WS : Karin Schnaase v Tai Tzu Ying WD : Birgit Michels/Johanna Golsizewski v Cheng Wen Hsing/Hsieh Pei Chen No Lee Young Dae in KOR line-up tonight also GER team doesn't field Schenk and Zwiebler against TPE.
Congratulation Indonesia!!! My prediction for Line Up vs China tomorrow: MS: Tommy Sugiarto WS: Lindaweny MD : Hendra/Ahsan WD: Gebby/Tiara XD: Tontowi/Liliyana Hope INA can get points from : MD,XD...and WS?
Sigh .... despite the best efforts of pjswift and Jen over two days, Singapore only managed to win a match. They should have taken the XD match to the cleaners, but Danny Bawa Chrisnanta made too many errors at the "opportune moment."
Lithuania may be a decent badminton team - but they are totally out of their depth in mixed doubles. Second heavy defeat in a row. Korean XD pair has yet to forge the understanding - Kim Ha Na is exposed.
I would like to see Lee/Chau beating Ko/Kim. If they can win this tie, who knows....MS and either WS or WD would bring an unlikely victory for HKG.
It's unfortunate that Lithuania's best badminton player K. Navickas was injured in the German League Final recently. Without him, the team is nowhere near as strong.
This KOR vs HK is quite interesting. MxD - Korea should take it with their greater experience but the HK pair are not bad at all. MS - HK can take it MD - KOR WS - KOR but Yip has a chance WD - KOR but again, HK has a chance So if HK take the MxD, anything can happen...
The HKG pair is on a roll now...leading 16-11 in the second set. Barring an uncharacteristic late lapse in concentration will see them winning the first point today.
