if you guys are annoyed at DPY's yells, LD vs PG will both yell after each point.

No way, Lin Dan plays it "too cool". PG maybe.

I noticed that the court moppers at the Swiss Open are much better than at the All England... they were always 8 year old girls who weren't even watching so didn't know where to mop. Swiss are much more efficient!

It seems like LD is just testing PG? He's not attacking at all.

This is the style of LD and LCW nowadays. They will start slow and defensive. Whether PG can take this first game would depend on whether he can maintain fast attacking play during the mid-game. If he cannot and slows down a bit to catch his breath, lo and behold, LD will win many points in a row.

I disagree, LD does start slow sometimes but he usually "wakes up" and unleash the beast by/after the first interval...this is just playing too loosely to be like him at all

LD needs to show some fire and jump smash to put PG under a bit more pressure.

If you watch closely, LD/LCW usually "wakes" up when their opponents show signs of slowing down. They are very good at sensing this, and of course, have the explosiveness to take advantage of this.

Anyway, I couldn't watch the match and am just talking out of past observation. If LD hasn't "waken up" yet, maybe he wants to lose; May be PG is playing so well at the moment that LD wants to drain PG's energy in the 1st game and then easily win the next two.

I think it's pretty clear already that Lin Dan is going to win.
