Off topic: I just happened to check the MAS Open SSP draw and found both Lin Dan and Chen Long's names in it, not as Steen said yesterday that only Lin Dan is playing, not Chen Long.
With MD so fast and furious and the smashes like thunderbolts, I'd expect both the umpire and the service judge to feel a bit uneasy where they are seated so close to the players on court. Maybe they'd like to put on goggles, if that's allowed.

Can Liu Cheng fill Fu Haifeng's shoes ? Not yet at the moment but if his mutual understanding and rapport with Zhang Nan is as close as it can get, this pair should work out fine. That'd take quite some time as their current WR is only 35 as of today.
