Taipei Open-Day 5 (13/09/2008)

Quality over Quantity. what's the point if we have 10 pairs in the competitve pool but only one or two pairs capable of winning titles:rolleyes::confused:
Create one of few upsets here and there doesn't matter most as they can't win a single title even in GP:cool: Maybe in satelite tournaments boleh la.

I WANNA SMASH UNCLE SAM HEAD...:p...ANGRYING......if they already have the strength to win title already...then...not call upset liao lar...uncle...:p

The matches are over.

In tomorrow finals,
INA has 2 1/2 reps,
MAS has 2,
TPE has 2,
DEN has 1, and
USA has 1/2.

Thank you, good evening, and...have a nice dinner!:D
And thank you very much to Labis for updating the score fot us all!

INA 3 1/2
USA 1/2
MAS 2
IND 1
DEN 1
TPE 2

NOPE...u can say so...the oldest among them is 23,razif...and the youngest is mak and teo...18...ours md pool is way bigger than others country...even mak/teo score 34 points against tony/candra in 2nd round...:)

U might want to revise that statement :cool:

The last time I counted, INA also has a deep pool of young talents in MD. Krisna and Hau-Ge can probably correct it for me.

Pelatnas First Team:
Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan (still only 24 yo this year)
Rian Sukmawan/Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki (also same age as Kido/Hendra)
Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi (26/21)
Bona Septano/Mohd Ahsan (21/21)

Djarum:
Fran Kurniawan/Rendra Wijaya (same batch as Kido/Hendra)
Rizky Yanu Kresnayadi/Albert Saputra (still a young and promising pair)
and many other young pairs still developing...

Pelatnas Second Team:
Fernando Kurniawan/Lingga Lie (at most 22 yo)
Wifqi Windarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan (at most 20 or 21)
Adi Chrisna Wijaya/Syahmie Syarif Radhitian (younger than the above)
and some other players that are not exposed to tourneys yet.

Other young pair:
Rio Willianto/Davin Prawissa

Wifqi/Afiat still 19
Nando 20
Chrisna/Syahmie older than above, I guess 20
Rian/Yoke 23
Bona/Ahsan 21
Joko 23

Wifqi/Afiat still 19
Nando 20
Chrisna/Syahmie older than above, I guess 20
Rian/Yoke 23
Bona/Ahsan 21
Joko 23

Thanks for the correction. Yup, I wrote wrongly for Joko Riyadi (1 year younger than Kido/Hendra).

I think both Rian and Yoke will turn 24 this year.

Hoon/Ong are pretty good.Hoon needs more match exposure. What's so arrogant about Ong? Sometimes defiance can be positive. That's what LCW needs to have more. Sometimes Rexy hurts himself when he labels his MDs in a 'negative' way.Better to look for little signs of progress in his MDs rather than harp on signs of distress.
