Is Tony Gunawan Indonesian any longer?
I thought he sold himself to the US sometime ago.
Obviously, Kido/Hendra have a good record in China, proven in the past two years. As for Luluk/Alvent or AG/Joko, its a toss between the two I think AG/Joko will get the nod.
Not sold him self...he is studying there...while study can play as well mah..
It's like...on passport he is american...but in everybody heart he is indonesian...just like michele yeoh who sell herself to hongkong
tony stil holds ina pasport..
i am... ..
Tony Gunawan IS STILL AN INDONESIAN CITIZEN
But I believe he holds a US green card. Hau-Ge will know better about this matter.
Congrats to the Indonesian! I am happy if either team wins tomorrow.
Can you share the video??
Pls go to the "video sharing" threads. plenty of videos uploaded for sharing. Sorry, I dont know how to upload those files.
Tony is still Indonesian..he is not american yet..........Taufik-ist is right
If a citizen of a country is defined as a person who holds a passport of the country, then Tony is an American. But since States allows one person to hold more than one passport at a time, Tony can still keep his Indonesia passport. So he is an Indonesian too.
Not necessary......Tony is still holding INA passport......not US citizen yet...
u can watch the great playing of Kido/Hendra when they against Cai/Fu on this video....
Talking about business,
Indonesia export players.Demand r high in the world.Singapore is also one of the countries that import their players....How many indonesian does singapore have in their national team??
Yes, but Singapore has got only the discards
In fact, the imports from China are doing better than the imports from Indonesia
Well..yeah,i know..all lower end yea?Higher ends r going all to the far west.US,Netherlands,UK..no singapore.
However, one of the export has gone really well..esp in UK n Malay.U know who i meant rite?
N the other one has helped US to gain their first WD champion title.Hmm..i wonder is there any other exported else than from indo, who can do all those miracles out there? Not from china as i remember..esp not from singapore.LOL..
SIngapore knows really well about importing players yea?
How about making or exporting players? When will the time be?Hmm..i wonder..
Oh yea,FYI..u know coach Tang XianHu rite?China's head coach for the junior team..n the assistant coach for the national team.He was an indonesian as well.Chinese ppl admits that their badminton expands alot, thanks to this guy.He has brought alot of thing, techniques, etc for the china's badminton.
Now,i wonder,is there anyone,an imported, else from indo, who can do all these things..in the history of badminton?
one of Thai coach is Indonesian..Mr. Atik Jauhari if I'm not mistaken, Singapore's head coach is Eng Hian, INdonesian as well, many HKG players route are indonesian, and one of the best WS contender in Zhang Ning and Wang Chen era, Mia Audina (netherland's player) was Indonesian as well..former Malaysian MS coach was Indra GUnawan (Also INdonesian)....we have a very long tradition of badminton..as well as China, Malaysia,England, and Denmark..
Yup, and another legendary coach Fang Kaixiang (also originally Indonesian) sparked the revival of MAS badminton. From then (late 80s) onwards, MAS players fitness were on par with INA, CHN, KOR. Previously this was what let us down in major tournaments.
