Hi everyone!!! I will be visiting Toronto, staying near the airport. I was wondering which is a good gym to drop in and play at on a weekday evening (Monday and Tuesday). Please advise. Also, who wants to play??? I think I have the skills of a C with stamina of a D... hahaha... so I am somewhat useless, just want to have fun :p Thanks in advance!!!!

There is absolutely nothing near Toronto airport. You can forget about night time drop in around Toronto unless you know someone. Day time drop in is fairly common and you are almost certain play some games with different levels of players. Most badminton courts are too far away from the Airport. A car is a must. Su badminton in Markham is your best bet if you can travel that far during the day.

I don't mind driving a bit if it is within 30 minutes :). Is night time drop in impossible because there isn't much play at night? Or does court needs some reservation of some kind? In which case, any BC members interested in playing a couple of fun games/showing a fellow member what the gym in Toronto looks like? :D

    Hi there,

You may want to visit 4U badminton. Try to google it to find the location. I think it's the closest badminton club from where you are. I have been there a couple times with my friends. A very nice badminton club.

If you take the UP Express downtown, you'll be very close to George Brown College. I believe they have a decent Tuesday evening drop-in session. I used to play there years ago. They had a good mix ranging from below average, all the way to quite competitive.
