I think she is still having problem with using round the head shot. She seem to be using alot of backhand than other players.

Tears in my eyes -- dunno for Li Xuerui being forced to play for CHN, or the incredible genius of Rexy and unwavering commitment of the THA women!

What a performance from the whole Thai women’s team! They showed great team spirit and resilience. They have their chance against Japan.

As for LXR I think it’s just a physical performance issue since she just recently started playing again at a competitive level and it takes time to regain confidence and her former form. She has to catch up with other players who didn’t wait for her during those last 2 years to make progresses. It will come I’m sure! She is a champion.

Because CHN literally has no one better to play WS4/reserve (newbie Gao Fangjie is already playing WS2)... Li Xuerui at her current speed is only fit to play semi-pro (or maybe Super 100) -- after a horrible injury like that at the Rio Olympics, you will never dare to put much pressure on your knee again!

The "destruction" of CHN badminton by Li Yongbo is now complete -- they have lost the Uber, Thomas & Sudirman Cup when they are suppose to have the most depth of talent in any country... now let's if they can start getting back to the top by taking back the Thomas Cup
