There is as much statistical basis in this statement as there is in "Even if Anup Shridhar/Chetan Anand doesn't win a single match from now on.He will be the Greatest ever. "
Erm...LD won the 2003 AE in the old format and got his first #1 ranking that year....so wth are you talking about? Also, Taufik the best in the new format? Please.
Don't be sad. I understand your feeling. :crying: It is not end of the world yet. Please hang on there because I can sense Victor Axelsen is going to win the match at court 1. Cool man.
Go check anyone's list or search on Google who is the Greatest Badminton Player of all Time?Go ask Peter Gade,Lee Chong Wei even Taufik will agree..Go ask ANYONE who has played this game?
Okay 2 upsets detected in MS match today. Hu Yun won over the highly ranked no 3 player Srikanth. Victor Axelsen won against a higher ranked player Prannoy.
Google's founders weren't even born when the best MS player of all time plied his trade..... Neither were any of the nobodies (in an all time context) dominated by the 2nd greatest MS player of all time (albeit a work still in progress).
interesting that you picked that as TH's best, I'm sure many would agree 2008 OLY is LD's best, wonder which match people pick as LCW's best?
Hu Yun the veteran, late bloomer ended up-and-coming star Srikanth's WC quest. Too close to call, doesn't matter really as either one will find the LCW hurdle near-impossible to cross tomorrow. And I don't suppose they relish the prospect of playing him though a win for either one today still mattered.
