To be honest, I have stored all those individual thermal covers of my rackets in a closet and have no use for then whatsoever. They need too much space in the bag if you are carrying around a bunch of rackets. That's where the cloth bags have their advantage.
Honestly I don't understand why someone would have a gripe about getting a cover like that. They're impractical as hell and a waste of money IMO. I don't even feel like I'm getting a premium product with it. Just gives me more trouble than it is worth. Even going to the stringers I use a cloth bag.
I never saw the point of cloth bags - people with only one racket are going to want something more substantial, and people with multiple rackets are going to put them in their dedicated bags anyway. Who would want a cloth bag, I have to ask...
I've had the occasional racket paintjob get nicked while it was in my bag. It all stopped when I got enough cloth covers to have every other racket covered.
In Jetspeed related news, there are new colours for the JS08s. They're very striking compared to the washed-out look of the current JS08s.
I never saw the point still. I do use cloth bags within my own 9202 to protect them further. I can understand why people who play casually with one racket would want a more substantial case. But IME most of the people I see who run around with 1 racket don't have a need for those larger cases or still have some form of backpack with the single racket stuffed in a cloth case.
never though that a new color makes the racket never though that a new color makes the racket looks like it will play better hahaha
I think this is because we have become accustomed to receiving full length covers with every racket. This sets market expectations. Frames rub against each other in a bag. Pro players don't mind because they need the rackets. Many players have two or three rackets. There is ample room and some actually try and look after the frame. Personally, I'm not bothered either way. I use them if they come with the racket however I don't carry that many rackets in my own bag. I have a demo bag and need to protect the frames to ensure they are looking their best for players to try. Market expectation has fuelled this within europe. I know the market is completely different in Asia and how rackets are sold. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Looks like an Olympic edition of the HX800 similar to when Victor released the Meteor X London for the 2012 summer olympics.
Good work, Victor - the best colourway... is the limited edition one that will soon disappear forever.
Anyone have any idea of VS680? Just saw it on the latest international catalogue. 0.65mm string that's supposed to be medium feel. Has similar packaging and "high resilience" categorisation as VS890.
Oh no. I should get a TK Onigiri now before all that's available is the new paint job. I don't like the new one as much.
