Sadly I haven't seen any sales on the "old" LN racquets here yet

I gave a N9II a try and I liked it. A bit more on the head heavy side but I would love get a more aggressive attacking racket as I play mixed most of the time and I lack power in my smash. I am not familiar with Li ning rackets, just their mainstream line.

The MX series were quite strong as well. I never had one but Ive heard so many great things bout them. The bs12s I have had went through so many clashes and miss hits. all there was were chips. no breaks haha. got lucky i guess.

s_mair is part of an ongoing BC agenda to convert everyone to lining N9ii :D

I also still own two 4UG5 from the earlier lots. After three seasons as go-to rackets, both show some sinking (which has stopped thanks to the amazing T-grommets from Dennis, but apart from that they are still holding up strong.

After several weeks with exlusively N7II/N9II, I went back to a JS10 in one of the previous sessions and, again, was blown away by it. What an amazing racket. Sadly, it feels as if the racket development at Victor made some poor decisions right after that and chose to go down a wrong path.

I seriously wonder. Is it the grommet quality that is causing the sinking? Or a problem with the frames themselves?

If something is good, you just have to spread the news. Although I'm slightly leaning towards the N7II these days... :D

e78.us still has both N9II and N7II on sale for a really good price, Racquetforce is down to N7II only. Those are my two standard shops when I order from overseas, so I don't know about any local shops.

Both i think, the grommets not hard enough to withstand higher tension therefore weak frames will sink the way they like :confused:

I see what you mean but hear me out on this for a moment.

We've had reports and personal experiences about sinking not happening for some after changing to sturdier grommets. Now on to the 12M we've had reports of none of this happening, yet it plays and feels exactly the same.

To me the logical conclusion would be they did absolutely nothing to the composition of the material and simply repainted the racket, but fixed the shoddy grommets instead.

Have 2 js12m no issues . But previously had problems with js12 lime. IMO js12 M is a little stiffer.
Maybe they have change materials or process ib making the frame

Looks genuine to me but I’m not the best to spot fake ones

Honestly speaking, I got 2 Jetspeeds replaced by Victor, because the sinking caused cracking. These both have seen tamer tensions inside the max. Tension. All grommets got replace by me on day zero before the rackets have ever seen a string. No cheap stuff. I got the Yonex JP strips for it and the W grommets. Every other grommet was also a thick quality grommet. Each grommet was used maximum 2 times, exclude the strips.

I also got sinking under the strips after 4 jobs, also the other holes have some wear and tear. I use my N7II with 2lbs more total, no strips, same grommets, more jobs - nothing. IMO it is clearly a material issue or a faulty molding. Frankly I don't have any issues with the Q without any strips, but it must be an improved/stronger material. Would also explain the totally different feel. It's really a pity that I like the old JS10 more than the new ones. :(

Hmm interesting findings. Gotta agree on the old JS10. They're unique.. The watermelons are great but they aren't the same..

Vyshagh where did you get your JS12M from? Online retailer, local retailer, private sale?

Does anyone know if the JS12m have standard sized head or compact head like the JS10?

It's relative large in standard size frames.
