Victor Meteor X 2012 London Edition Racquet and NS-880 String

I did asked the official dealer in my country about the price, it would be around RM 1000+-, that's a whooping USD333, can get 2 new good rackets with that price. It sure looks tempting, for the hardcore victor fans? =)

The retail price I'm indicated here is 230$ CAD, however, it is from an old document, and no indication of if it's just for the racket or for the racket, case and everything.

I was just informed that the MX London launch will be postponed because of reasons I'm not sure I can tell. However, it is quite easy to guess the reason ^^

Why? I thought Victor was able to avoid infringing on Olympics 2012 licensing by altering the graphcis from London 2012 to London Limited with less union jack colours and no dragon.

Maybe the rackets were already produced and they had to recall them.

It's hard to believe that buying racket oversea is cheaper than buying locally in my country lol!! Anw, the dealer here said middle of June this London racket will be in stock. Let's see if which news we heard is correct ;D

Clarification: it looks like the racket alone will be available at the retail price I have posted earlier (or lower).
The full package will most likely be priced higher than badmintonshoponline's price.

As for the release, it looks like it is already available at some places, or in preorder anyways. So they probably started shipping them. Nothing has arrived in Canada yet however.

Anyone of you would really buy this limited edition racket? For that price ... i can get about 2 1/2 brave sword lol ... looks tempting though

Just the racket alone is available for purchase
Got mine already and plan to test it out tonight together with MX 60 & 80 :)
See which suits me more hahaha

I am looking for your review, then...
My guts tell me that it is almost the same with MX80..
It is good that you have MX80 as well to compare, hope it is strung with the same string & almost the same tension

Hahaha not really good at reviewing rackets, not a pro yet
MX London seems to have more solid swing weight compare to my MX 80
My fren who tested both prefer the MX London too (the feel of it)
Stiffness for London is less than 80 and more manageable
Not sure if is similar to MX70 but compared to MX60 it is slightly stiffer
Both London and 80 strung @ 26/28 using VS850
Had more game time wif MX80 today ... shall try the London more tis weekend
Tats all for now :)
