Thanks for your question. Without having a VT5 to directly compare it's a tough question to answer. What I will say is that I think you will get a far better racquet from MX60, but there again you will also pay more for it. From memory I didn't feel MX60 was that head heavy but had enough for you to know it's there. Sorry I can't be more specific but I cannot get the racquets for a direct comparison. Thank you for your quick reply, Paul. It will be a dream if major badminton racket makers can organize test playing like the test driving by car makers.
finally my love mx60 has broken the string ngy98 after 3 months use. so next string is bg66u at 29lbs.
Hahaha...thanks to all of you guys giving reviews on this racket, it made me decide to go for it. So my 1st post must honor it back over here...the MX60 proud owners...hehe.
How is your C7? So u play MX60 more often than C7? Why? Since u own both, may I ask how MX60 compliment with C7 or vice versa in term of their different characteristics? Can they be a good companion to each other? Cheers!
Just done 2 sessions with MX60 and the conclusion was .... a SUPERB racket !!! Is fast and powerful at the same time, controls on shuttle placement and net shot is good too Smash returns and drive exchange is better than i've expected in my second run Gonna try BS LYD next and settle with one tat suits my play
The C7 is just too unstable for me now. There was a period when it was awesome, but after you come off something like the Meteors, you realise how flexy it is, and it just doesnt have the stable and sharp handling I wish it had. It's definitely a nice racket - the feel and damping is awesome - but the way it flexes and then unloads has become a bit annoying. Good power as a result when everything somes together, but it's not really suiting my game at the moment.
I see. So it is due to the different stiffness that causing them flex differently. Will Kason F9 will be a good companion of MX60 since both are flexi? Can share with us the kind of game you play at the moment?
It is definitely what i feel when using my friend's MX80 for a game, on which i use Arc 7 on the previous game.. Arc 7 feel really flexible
I have ordered another mx60 from chris.. And sold off my bs11 that's it!! Mx60 would be my replacement bs11 for long term...
Hi, what string and tension u use for your existing MX60 and the new MX60? When u feel like switching to another racket as a spare or backup, do u use other racket as a companion for MX60?
Hi bro, I uses vs850(white all the time) Tension at 25lbs if digital and 26lbs if manual stringing Using 2 mx60 now, so no other backup model.. Probably in future yes
The MX60 isn't that flexy. I think both the 60 and the C7 might technically have the same stiffness shaft, but the extra torsional stiffness of the 60 makes it feel stiffer, and the lack of stiffness in the head and it's head-heaviness makes the C7 seem more flexible. If that makes sense. If you like the MX60, then I guess any racket with the same specs or similar specs will be a good 'companion piece'.
Go for a try with the MX60, I guess most of you wont regret it. Im seriously proud to own and play with it. Its not a monster but its one of the best companion that you can have when you needed it to perform most. I would said its a superb racket with a class of itself. Drive, defense, attacks are just great with this racket. Once u get use to it, I would said it can be your perfect partner. I just had a session today and "Im Lovin It"!!!
