Looks like really poor QC to me if you got it from a legit source.

If MagicElite say so, it must be normal then.

    I've seen worse...
I wouldn't raise any concern at all since the cone engraving is just to show the racket spec and it has nothing to do with the racket aesthetically and most of the time I wrap the overgrip covering 70-80% of the cone :)

Yup i have seen quite a few legit victor rackets with some faulty engravings.

...either steel needle engraver getting blunt or the engraver missed his lunch...in both cases, manufacturer just want to cut costs...lol

At the same time, has anyone compared the shaft between Mx JJS and Mx90? The difference seems not obvious to me.

90 has 0.2mm thinner diameter than JJS

based on that does seem like 90 should be flexier, but the RRI indicates otherwise... hopefully some reviews will come in soon

Mine arrives Monday, I plan to do a full and thorough comparison, including comparisons to the VT80 too.

    Nice to hear that :)

After playing with MX90 for two hours, I find that my defence got better than my present mx jjs. Notably, my smashes was more solid than mx jjs. Not sure if it is new racket syndrome.

I've used this for about 8+ hours, and I've found it to be a wonderful racquet, although I do suspect that the 3U version might feel a little more substantial, as my 4U feels very light. Regardless, the racquet in general is good for many things, the smashing feels effortless and is light and quick in defence. Very pleasing to use.

I'd be surprised if my MX90 smashes harder than my JJS. I measured my JJS to have a 306mm balance point, and that's without string or wrapping. That's higher than even my VT80!

Can't wait to try it either way.
