Congrats. IMO a great decision.:) If I had a good chance to order them, I went for them, too.:D I heard the rumour that some people choose rackets, strings, grips and shoes based on colours.

Faor enough but I still think they're way too ugly to beat function must say the A920s are really nice shoes. They're pretty light (not S80 light) but they didn't sacrifice on cushion to get there. I won't say it's a gripe but the only niggle I have with the shoe is that the lateral support system isn't as prominent like on the 9000/9100ACE or A930 and it does show when you use it. It's not a negative point as the shoe is pretty stable. Just not on the same level as the 9xxx lines with that piece on the side.

^ Speaking of lateral support, I'm of the opinion that they're a bit of a gimmick. And if not done properly, it'll hurt.

Having had 9000, 9100, A850, the worst is A850 with that little eye that pushes on the base of the 5th toe. Crap does that pinch!

The 9000 and 9100 the sole being so low and wide is already inherently one of the most stable shoes around. Only problem is it lacks cushioning as a result, which makes it painful to play on anything but well cushioned mat floors.

I found the A920 to be similar to the LYD in all its aspects though. But with a tighter more snug fit all around. The A850s I'm pretty sure wasn't a lateral support piece. They just added in that strange box crap. But coming from the 8100 and the 9000 both with a LSS piece the difference does shoe for me.

IMO the lateral support of the A850 worked really well for me and better than this Talon Guard.

These past few posts just goes to show how important it is to test fit shoes (and buy) at your local store, especially when trying a new model never worn before.

I feel your pain, brother. :crying: But everything is relative.
Let's compare difficulties in shopping at a store which carries badminton shoes:

The calculated flying distance from Northampton to City of London is 61 miles which is equal to 98 km. If you want to go by car, the driving distance is 110.79 km

The calculated flying distance from Halifax to Montreal is 497 miles which is equal to 800 km.
Driving distance, however, is 1,253 km - about 11 hours 37 mins.

Fair enough, you win that one ;).
But still even our stores don't stock a lot. Just Yonex shoes and mostly Yonex rackets

They don't have blue in correct size - tried them already.

    They're expensive as well.

Wow, at those sizes, probably best to get volleyball or basketball shoes?

There's Canuck Badminton in Mississauga. I ordered mine online from MBS when my cousin in Toronto couldn't find any SH-A920s.

Now, what colour is the SH-A920G? Green? Yellow? All the Latinos here are telling me yellow, but all the Asians are saying green.:confused:

G is victor's letter designation for Green but in actuality the Shoe is a nice combination of both. I think of it as a nice combo of lime green and yellow.
