I'm on the same string and tension, and its been a roller coaster ride. Crazy power at times during a whole game, then so dull during another had to switch to a thicker string. With the initial NBG98 it was a joy but the string cost double. The racquet is more demanding than originally thought. Well they do say with age you need to reduce tension or get a lighter racquet.
[h=2]Why TK8000 Head Lighter than TK6000+TK9000[/h]From any measuring, TK6000, TK8000, TK9000 also same balance point with 295-305. (base BP: No overgirp + String) Why victor put TK8000 HH: 4/5, but TK6000 and TK9000 are HH: 5/5 And if you have 2 or more rackets, can u help me to compare about HH and Flex? (From paper TK6000+TK8000 are mid stiff, but TK9000 is stiff) Thanks. http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/shop...oducts_id=1614 http://www.mybadmintonstore.com/shop...1#.UxC3svmSwrU
i saw this topic, and i wan to know too. someone can answer him? http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...45-Why-TK8000-Head-Lighter-than-TK6000-TK9000
Yeah, I finally got a chance to try out the racket and it's pretty weird cause i'm used to extra stiff and stiff rackets so it took me a while to adjust. The head weight is also a bit heavier than what I expected so I have to get muscular . But on a good note, smashes were actually really nice, even off centre hits were sharp and fast.
I am using TK6000 4U with Zymax 65 and 25 x 27 pounds. Anyone experienced vibration with this racket? Also, I am not sure if it is due to my techniques. I started to have mild tennis elbow but I never have any problem when I was playing VT80 4U. My thought is mid stiff shaft is less demanding for the arm. I have been playing with it for almost 3 months and loving it.
By far n large, the opposite should apply, that is mid-stiff racket should b gentler for the racket arm than a stiff one. What's the string n the tension used on ur 4u VT80? Both rackets by same stringer?
That's my thought too. I do feel the racket vibrates a little when hard smashing or it just me? I always strung my VT80 with Lining AS62+ @27lbs. The stringers were different but does it make that much of difference? Next, I am going to string K6000 with AS62+ and I will know. Another possible reason I think could be I'm using more of my wrist with K6000 than VT80. Except for the tennis elbow, I am really having a lot of fun with K6000.
Diff stringers, stringing machine, strings, tension n rackets r "the usual suspects" (gosh, I luv that movie). But my guess is the transition frm VT80 to TK-6ooo affected ur swing techniques n thereby affecting ur elbow. I've experienced tennis elbow n know that it could hurt. For me, to avoid it is to follow thru ur swing after the string bed has made contact with the birdie. Just my two cents...
