moved to TK9900 from JS10 - definatly slower but not so much that it causes much of an issue. Can feel more of the shuttle and feel like all my shots are more powerful. My defense is not as strong anymore, but my attack has improved so i have to defend less anyway. Loving the TK9900.

Woot! Just back from customs and I was worried for nothing it seems. Extremely nice people and the elderly lady got up herself to check my parcel and confirm that it was released with a fee of just 15.1 dollars (tk9900 and two packets of strings :)) that my postman will collect from me. It'll be delivered in two days apparently.

I don't know what I will actually. Maybe 80 that @shreyas666 will give me in exchange.

Seems nice to start with given the feel should be vastly improved over the Yonex's I own.

I see. On a slightly different note, I don't think I saw a Made in China with my Li-ning N9II?

I bought the racket pretty much blind as a 5 minute decision when I wasn't able to order an n90. I think I spent a good 30 minutes just admiring the details. Silver decals with hologram like rainbow effect, flakes in the paint job that you only notice when up close, color combination and just the overall finish. Wow is what came out of my mind when I opened the cardboard package. Painjob is very pretty indeed. I have it hung in my room just because it is that much of a beauty to look at. Perhaps a bit against the time and trend but I don't like matte paintjobs much so this really hit home with me.

Doesn't help that I felt like I was able to just defend instinctively and get back everything. I don't know how many points I lost myself but very, very few were due to me not being able to get the shot back. Drops that were almost about to touch the ground, smashes anywhere and everywhere on the court and whatever else people tried. It almost at times reminded me of my brief stint with the JS10. I'm not joking, people couldn't kill on me. Very weird as I was able to play really well from the first shot. It always takes a bit to adjust and then a while more to really understand it but it felt like I had owned this for months and it was just another day with the racket.

Netplay is really good tho I imagine 80p at 33lbs helps somewhat. Any less stiffness would take a toll on it but it feels just right. Feel from the racket and of the racket is just fantastic. It feels very solid indeed compared to my ZF2 which leans more towards the all weight towards the head category. The shuttle impact feels great and the string pings for a lot longer (cleaner / smoothly as well?) which is weird. The swing is very fast for a racket of this type and almost unexpected. Shuttles seem to be flying a little faster than with my ZFII. However it's the fact that I seem to not feel any fatigue whatsoever after putting out a few back to back smashes which amazes me.

A racket that hits this hard shouldn't defend so well - the 3U ZF-II was like holding an angry snake.

Try it with a harder string next time; it's a toss-up between this and the HX900 for which one has the hardest bed...

Make an owner's diary. Keep track of strings you're going to use.

It shouldn't. It's like a cheat of physics. Harder than 80P? I guess the only choice I have there is 80 since I don't really (no offense) trust r4X110 past 32.

110 wouldn't go past 31 for me. Shame - absolutely outstanding string but for the odd QC hiccup.

Normal 80 is definitely harder than 80P. No contest.

Really iffy grommet quality. Doesn't make or break the racket for me thanks to dennis and his grommets but still, rather unimpressed from the grommets.
