Just surprised service judge is calling her instead of KSH.
I remember watching him live, and always wondered how he got away with serving up to his chin. (slight exaggeration :p)

Kor 11-9 at the break. Both teams showing nerves and making unforced errors. Important to win game 1.

They're indeed true if one really follows all the discussion and comments in various TT forums and sites, folks there are much more willing to accept those players' excellence and recognize their prowess.

KHN aint that cool controlling the front court, she might be more suitbale playing in WD rather than focusing on XD, solely.

    I totally agree with you...
Goh is better of the 2 Mal on court, but we are well aware who lethal KSH himself is... And needless to say KHN has proved herself as far as net play is concern.. I am still rooting for the Kor

GLY really playing superb for 3 service faults called on her.
Impressed on her mental toughness, even right after she gets called, she keeps calm and accepts the fault.

Kim Ha Na really needs to improve her skill in the front court, if they wished to be a top class pair..

Yes and no but I'd rather discuss it some other time. For the time being, just bear in mind that this is an English-speaking forum, the Chinese, the Koreans and the Japanese are under-represented here unlike the Malaysians, Indonesians, the Indians and the Europeans, most of whom can at least write passable English and quite a few are highly proficient.

As for table tennis, China's dominance is overwhelming and she has been for a long time, several decades already since the 1960s/70s so much so that the world has gotten used to and lived with it. Not so badminton where China has only begun to show signs of dominance in recent times, barely a decade, nothing like table tennis. As such it is quite natural for those traditional badminton power houses who were replaced or sidelined by China to initially find it hard to come to terms with it, hence the somewhat negative reactions.

But, I'm optimistic all this image problem or negative perception whether due to lack of good communication and interaction, misinformation, disinformation, or lack of goodwill caused by misunderstanding or ill-will generated by certain actions deemed as inappropriate on the part of China or other nations with unintended consequences - it will improve considerably in good time as China led by Xi Jinping is fully aware of the need for both hard and soft power projection in international relations as China has always been trying to convince the world that her rise is a peaceful one.

So much for now, I'd rather not delve further into it here, not at this time.
