Badminton BC nor VRC website have an updated schedule...

Does anyone know if they are holding the VRC summer tourney again this year? If so, what are the dates? I'm to take a week off in August and if possible I'd like to plan it that I can play the tourney

    Cheers

What is the skill level for this tourney? Would it be a local "hit-and-giggle" type of tournament? Or is it more of a national level tournament? Will Chris (Lee) be showing up? And is it U19 and lower? If I turn 19 on the 13th of August will I still be able to play?:(

The tournament is on the weekend of Aug 19. It will be implementing the new rally point system. It is an open tournament that usually attracts the top provincial players...no hit and giggling here!

It's also the first qualifying tournament for making the U23/U21 Canada Winter Games team for BC.

And it's open to everyone and anyone.
