Which yonex shoes has the best cushion?

    Have any of you tried the Sorbothane insoles? Years ago my orthopedician recommended them after my knee surgery as that material is supposed to be very good in absorbing shock. For me they make a lot of difference compared to the basic insoles in shoes. I have no idea how they compare with other specialty insoles mentioned here...

    I agree. SHB-98 have the cushion feel so far. SHB-89 are pretty bad... They are only known for "light"

    Haven't checked this thread for a long time :D . It's the Black One for sports: yeah, the Ultra Softec one. It really saves my knees from all the impacts.

    After trying 3 Yonex shoes: SHB89, SHB98, SHB99.

    I find that they all lack of cushion and durability. However, SHB99 is the most comfortable and has the best cushion.

    I agree, they lack cushioning but that's a trade-off. If you have too much cushioning, it will hinder feel, control and speed (especially transitioning). Regarding durability, my SHB-99 has held up very well all things considered and I'm very hard on shoes. :p
