...because it is not the problem with racket but the problem is the player who is no bloody good and so no rackets can help.....take e.g. lightweight and drifit clothing reduces sweat and drag and a player feels lighter and can run faster...well, if a lousy player play naked i.e. no drag, the game is still lousy...come to think about it, how can a naked player perform a LD jump smash, that would be awkward...:p:D

You guys/gals are so lucky and blessed to be able to add/replace new rackets as if it is the flavour of the month and money is no object...my time, we share playing one set of rackets among friends and if the string broke, we restring just that broken string and keep playing, we poolshare the birdie and play the birdie until the feathers are broken...no proper badminton court, just draw the line of the ground with a stick, a makeshift net, and most times barefoot, no proper shoes...those are the 60's in MAS of a humble and carefree beginning which develop our work ethic and appreciation for $$$ and we have just as much fun when we knew so little of tension, grip, latest racket technology, etc. The prices of the rackets now eg LN, Nano 9000, and shirts costing >S$90 there is no way we could even dream of owning one, let alone more. Count your blessing. Sure, I can buy anything I want now but I just could not understand why?

yes. if you brake the shaft so its just the handle. then get some string and weights you can tie the string around the weights and the handle then roll up the weights with your hands above your head. Thats how i got a strong hit :)

i need a neww racquet cause may sore arm and tedonitis in my elbow from smashing with my NS7700 told me too. Im looking at something arm-friendly. I'm not worried about lactic acid, so im looking at AT900T (ArmorTec 900 Technique)

ohhh too many reasons for buying new racquet. my reasoning(the logical side) i see a new technology in materials, racquet design and i wanna try it. and it asia there's no shop that'll lend u the racquet for a day to test(in london they do, decathlon). i dont normally collect them...if i find they completely dont fit me, i'd sell them off for 20 to 30% off. theres quite a liquid market for used racquets on this site. it also motivates me to go play more often....
