BAM president Datuk Seri Nadzmi Salleh said on Wednesday that the pair have stagnated and should be split after the Olympics but men's doubles chief coach Tan Kim Her has not revealed his plans for them. "The decision to split us is beyond our control. I am also not sure whether I will continue playing and might retire after the Olympics. But it is still too early to say," said Kien Keat. "I believe if we have the hunger to succeed after the Olympics, we can still perform as a pair." However, Kim Her is more concerned about their challenge in London where their target is to win a medal but their current form suggests otherwise. "Let us make a decision on Kien Keat-Boon Heong after the Olympics. "They need to be more confident and need the support of everyone as they prepare for the Olympics," said Kim Her. "But they must improve on their mental strength and also think positive. In terms of defence, they have improved but they need to be more aggressive. "Their fitness level is much better but they lack confidence when playing top pairs. "I will discuss with Pang Cheh Chang to come up with new ideas and methods to help them so that they will be well prepared for the Olympics." Kim Her is also banking on Goh V Shem-Lim Khim Wah to be more consistent and start beating top pairs. He has also identified two other combinations -- Nelson Heg-Teo Ee Yi and Ow Yao Han-Chooi Kah Ming -- to groom for the 2016 Olympics. Kim Her said both pairs have shown marked improvement and will be the ones to watch out for in the next two years. The coach is also expected to request for an additional coach to help the national team after South Korean Yoo Yong Sung's departure. Former women's doubles coach Chang Kim Wai, currently with Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS), could be roped in. Looks like most of them starts giving up on KKK/TBH............LOL What a waste with those potential in them,.....with no proper guidance...just wasted like that...........sad
Let us make a decision on Kien Keat-Boon Heong after the (2012) Olympics . Well... We will need to wait for news, after the (2012) Olympics. .
until now, I still have faith in them eventhough i hated their performance lately if they play seriously, esp. KKK. they are still the best pair we have now... anyone with me??
the way for KKK/TBH to play well is to get serious during match, 'dun play play' especially for KKK...
I always like the combination of KKK/TBH... Do not look down on opponents & play serious during matches are two essential element that this pair have to grab on, in order to rise up again... Sometimes during a match, when they have a good lead, they start lowering down the pace. If they are still having enough stamina, for me there is no point for them to do such thing, additionally KKK will start executing some risky shots. If risky or trick shot does not work, their opponent will gain advantage, it is really dangerous, especially in this fast paced game & rally point.
For now. I wish both gets kicked out of BAM. Waste of time. One is a drinker and one is a gambler. They can do this after retirement. These are parasites and can infect and influence others in a very bad way. You just look at the fitness of the other top 5 players. Totally different.
There are three bad habits in life : 1) Gambler 2) Drinker 3) Womanizer If I need to choose, I will pick number 3.
No 4 - Heavy Smoker(for sportspeople), for others- Drug User/Addict, even if recreational drugs(uppers & downers like sleeping pills, SSRIs)
There are three bad habits in life . Hahaha... That's what some people tell us men; 1) To be a professional gambler - You could lose your money. 2) To be a professional drinker - You could lose your mind. 3) To be a professional womaniser - You could lose your favourite woman. What about being a professional Badminton player? Perhaps we could find; 1) Fortune and fame. 2) Some good mental qualities. 3) A good woman. .
With or without results, i still manage to stay a Bayu Mont Kiara , with my M3, and a bunch of ladies around me, enjoying my good foods, wine, cigarattes etc.... Thomas Cup? Olympic Medal? Put aside lah....
kkk is hopeless ady. overated. pity tbh for having to stay with that loser so long. hope his fortunes can rise again after the olympics.
