Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Angga Pratama pass their first test after beating Li Gen/Guo Junjie 21-13, 26-24. It's surely good to have Li Gen in your half of the draw eh :)

Up next will be Jacco Arends/Jelle Maas of Netherlands.

Yeah, just like what fathonezic say, that every player get huge experience after playing against Li Gen.. And i hope Rendy and Angga more confident now after they beat the most talented BD in the world, Li Gen.. :) :)

Actuall the girl Suo Di, she is not a second team player, she is only a province team player. She has just started her high school (form 4 as in Malaysia) in September 2009 after a summer holiday break. She didn't have systematic training for this WJC. So, although she beat the second seed today, I don't think so she can go long. But as a friend of course I hope she can go long. :D

Ulin/Berry should go through, leading 21-9, 11-8 right now.

A 16-mins demolition match by Mohd Ulinnuha/Berry Angriawan as they progress to R16. They should have no problem in reach QF where Lu Kai/Liu Peixuan will await them. That's when the real-test will start

So, the morning-afternoon session has nearly ended.

There will be matches in R32 of XD, WS, and MS in that order.

    XD R32
Ng Ka Long/Tse Ying Suet [5/8] vs Angga Pratama/Della Destiara Haris -- a tricky match for Angga/Della. Let's see if they can progress to QF.

Joper Escueta Philip/Gelita Castelo vs Kevin Alexander/Suci Rizki Andini [5/8] -- shouldn't be a problem for Kevin/Suci. In fact, I expect them to reach at least QF.

    Yang Chih-Hsun/Wu Yun-Ting vs Mohd Ulinnuha/Tiara Rosalia Nuraidah -- ditto for Ulin/Tiara.

well its unfortunate that Febby lost but as allo u said China have plenty of talents. Poor girl she cried after the match. I am sure she wanted to finish her junior career well. Real tough draw for her.

Anyway morning concluded. Malaysian reports re as follows:

Sonia advance to 3rd round and will face a tough opponent Sayaka Takayashi. She has to be in her best form to beat her. Not going to be easy.

Lilian was unfortunate that she could not closed her 2nd game after leading 20-15. she lost her 2nd game 23-25. and could not play to her true form after that. If she has won probably she will go at least quarter based on her draw.

Tee- another walkover by Cambodia who didnt turn up.

Boys singles- all boys advanced tothe 3rd round. Easy opponent.

Boys double- all advance and Goh/Pang played well against the Jap to win.

    Girls doubles- another easy round.

Well surprisingly Li Gen played quite well against the Indonesian pair and he really attract lots of spectators with his arrogant way. But I would said that he is quite a character and unique in his own way.

What impressive me most is the Indonesian girls doubles- i forgot their names- i think one of them name Ayu/Partner- they are good and powerful.Beat the Japanese girls.I think they are good for a medal.
