Hi I would like your impressions on the SHB89 shoe, I've heard some comments about it but really neutral...

It's a wonderful shoe. Very supportive, experience no slippage or expansion due to long term usage. Good price. I'd recommend it and I've been using it for 1.5 years now.

Shoes are one of those things though that you really should try out before buying. It's not like a shoe of the same size will always work for you. For badminton this is especially important. If your feet are wider or narrow, thicker or thinner in places, you might have constant discomfort while playing.

Good advice, I normally wear Nike and Asics Tiger Size: 13, but the Yonex SHB-99 Size: 12 is the exact same size in length/width. Go figure.

sorry 604badder, I must've mispelled I said I wanted to buy in a shop and definitely not off net :p

I used to have ASICS but since the begining of this new badminton season they're causing me pain under the foot in the middle area making lateral movements painfull+ half of the gel on the left shoe has literally ripped off. I was performing a jumping smash and when I landed and when I was about to run to the center of the court, some gel ripped away and I twisted my ankle.

    Hopefully I'm not hurt :D

I went to the store today and I tried the SHB89 altough they told me they didn't have the SHB99 model the did not told me they had the SHB99 Limited edition, I tried both but prefered the SHB99 Ltd even if I don't pretty much like the colour

    If possible get the shb99

    If possible get the shb99.
1 reason: The rubber sole is of much better quality than the SHB89 one.
