To think that Viktor Axelsen can't and couldn't play like this against Momota the way he is doing against Lu Guangzu. I would put it down mostly to psychology, VA is mentally defeated even before he steps on court to face Momota.

In other words, VA just lacks self-confidence and inner belief.

Umpire is a dingus correcting that linecall in favour of Jorgensen and then not correcting one for Gemke

Poor Gemke losing to Jorgensen after beating CL, what humiliation

A flick serve against the tall Dane, LGZ must be crazy. Anyway, I've a feeling LGZ may make a big breakthrough sometime this year, the earlier the better to help his Olympic quest by overtaking, possibly, Chen Long for the No. 2 spot in the CHN camp.

It has something to do with his illness. It's amazing how he can still play at this level after that though.

Yeah but he used to be really reliable in 2017, that was after his brain aneurysm right ? I still remember how boe/mog beat minions like 3 times a row in 2017.

Maybe it's the camera angle but the Danes seem to have lots of chances to kill at the net but aren't taking them
