Yonex Arcsaber 11

Lose your minds people, guess who loves blue and has held on a blue racquet for like an eternity? Now that's he's signed on, what better way to celebrate than to fire up the ol' production line with an exisitng mould and do a dedicated version?

(Allegedly.)

Wow looks good. I doubt it is a LYD edition, as Yonex likes to repaint their high end rackets every year if they are not releasing a new one in that series. (eg. Nanoray Z speed)
But i'm hoping he does get a signature racket released for him though! :D

Arc11 is stiffer by quite a bit. It's a little head heavy and produces pretty hard smashes.

Arc10 in my opinion is true blue balanced racket . Needs more quality user input in defence and smashes

Agree, whilst i have not spent much time with an ARC11, a friend does uses it and i've had try it before. Its slightly head heavier (but only by slightly). Otherwise its quite similar. ARC10 gives more feedback + very balanced racket.

hahah no.... some china guy DIY....

but i bet alot of arc 11 fans will just buy arc11 if it has a new coat of paint.
my buddy psycho-ing me to get one arc11 too. hahaa. but somehow it just doesnt feel right when i try it.

I wonder if someone can help me. Are acsabers which are produced in 2013/14 any different from Arcsabers produced in 16/17? I could buy myself a cheap genuine 14 modell for 20 bux less than a 16 modell. I would imagine they are the same, but are they?

they should be same. maybe you will need to change the original grip though.. probably broken down if it is 4 years old.

The new livery looks good but with a golden logo Yonex is really trying to hard to hype things up. I really like this racket and have been using since it launched. I switched to other racket but eventually came back to this.

Found a better picture after playing with my mate Gi M P(korean national player sponsored by Yonex).456633008.g_0-w_g.jpg

has anyone used grommet strips on their arcsaber? I saw that strips were sold online. Labled as arcsaber 11 grommet strip. Is this a real thing? If so, does it improve the play? it certainly helps with the stringing.

AC416L-1. For me it doesn't do much, reinforced protection at the 4/8 o'clock means more stress at the ever so brittle 2/10 o'clock. Much easier to collapse. Did happen on my reinforced VT80PG's, where the top gave way. Ugh. Decided against them ever since.

Wow, I love the color scheme, but don't you think the color theme is a bit too BS12-ish?

I hope you saw the fine print.... and don't get suckered into it...

@ucantseeme , I gave you a preview of the picture above and you can't even get the purple/violet right? C'mon man :P
And you forgot, no funny colored original leather grips other than white/red/black hehehe.

I've read a few people comment on how they want a bit more power from their Arcsaber 11. Does anyone use the 2U?
Bought a 3U ARC11 in replacement for my 3U VT70 to play doubles with which I'm loving every bit of except backcourt smashes could do with a little more improvement (and clears... but I usually avoid playing backcourt to backcourt clears in favour for good placement shots which where the ARC11 really shines for me)

Wonder if the 2U would give me just that extra oomph I'm looking for...
Any 2U users that could chime in?
