As far as I know: Astrox 99 has 69 as cheaper and 39 as cheapest version. Astrox 88S/D has 68S/D as cheaper and 38S/D as cheapest. With same logic, Astrox 100 should have 70 as cheaper and 40 as cheapest (if they are available). Astrox 100ZZ and 100ZX are more like twins (like 88S and 88D) (both have Namd), new siblings to AX99, 88 family. Don't expect Namd in cheap version.
oh i see... i was also checking the 2020 catalogue and i assumed that the 100zx is the cheaper version of 100zz and not as siblings.. when I checked again, the materials used in 100zx seems not to be cheap (Namd)
Post #34 in this thread speaks against your theory. According to the catalogue the 100ZX is not labeled as MADE IN JAPAN, which speaks more for a cheaper version than same category of price.
I was confused about that too. Up to now, Namd rackets are Made in Japan. I guess it will not be too different (for example $180 and $150), not like falling to different families ($180 and $100). But this is just my guess. If I am wrong and 100ZX is cheap, then it will probably be the best selling racket for a while.
Why should it be a bestseller? x-stiff and hh are just specs which target a small group of players who can use it. Just because of NAMD? Fanboys in a nutshell.
many times some people just never learn. Just because their favourite player use it, they think it will be great if they also use it in hope they will look like it. Or just because its new they always think its always a better product than the old one.
That's what I guess based on others' tendency. You can say I am wrong. I did not say I will buy it. Anw thank you for you compliment.
Wouldn't be the very first time that technologies from the flagships find after years its way into the midrange.
enhanced the RGS system by put black micro core on top head and new lighter T joint material. this all for astrox series improvement. player just will feel heavier or less heavy head than the others. the hyper slim shaft with carbon inside without hollow. if its really thinner than zf2, so it'll help less drag abit. the advance isometric provide bigger sweet spot a bit. how bout the frame size is it just same with another astrox series (which already a bit square) or even bigger?. EBCAP PLUS.. it's really good looking only for the 1st time buying at the shop. after that it will be fully cover with overgrip by player. full NAMD. this ax99 already have. painting colors. as standard as astrox series. this time looks like redefined from ax99 by provide the latest hyper slim shaft design for agility with top heavier and less heavy on t joint frame. for better generate power + flex / snap effect.
Agreed. So ugly. Thought it would’ve been matte at the very least. Design looks pretty bad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
