BTW, to all the forumers who had manage to try the BG66 Maxima, one simple question ;)

What is the TENSION LOSS for BG66Maxima like ? Is it better or as bad as BG66 Ultimax ...?

So far, I have not read anyone commenting on this aspect, perhaps the string breaks before any tension loss is noticeable ? :p

fyi i am fan n using bg66 sharp

I'll check tension loss via n track tuner when I receive it. I used to play with it and it was awesome. Broke both sets after a couple months playing plastic, 3-4 hours/week.

I don't have BG85 but I have BG80 since it's my go-to. BG66M doesn't feel as hard as BG80 and the repulsion is better with BG66M. The texture isn't as rough but it doesn't feel slippery like NBG95/98. Haven't tested durability yet since I don't break strings often. I remember when I first had this string, it took about 1-2 months for them to break from hitting a drive. I usually play 2-3 times a week, 2-3 hours per session. But that was before I started stringing for myself, which usually lasts longer than giving it to another stringer.

BG66M will never be good value for money. It should not cost $12USD per pack.

Then how do Yonex BG85 compare to Ashaway Zymax 62? If not Zymax 65?

Zymax will always be better value for money. For me though I get a lot better performance out of BG80 (NOT BG85). I've only heard that BG85 and BG80 are similar, some people even saying BG85 is a better version of BG80. Tension holding on Zymaxes are better.
