That WC fiasco at the hands of the same opponent must be weighing on LXR's mind.

Took the power out of his legs which affected/is affecting his agression and more importantly took agility out of Lin Dan which now affects his shot quality.

No fire, little aggression in LXR, so unlike her one, two years ago.

Absolutely agree with you. Well said. I love lin dan too but i have to admit that its chen long era now.
Judging by Lin dans form now, i dont think he will be able to beat chen long now. Chen Long has proved why he is currently the best now by beating wei nan and victor despite going down by a lot and experiencing a dip in form. He was able to pull through and come out victorious.
Is it just me or i think the manner in which Chen long won those 2 matches are just like Lin Dan of old. Going down by a lot in the game with everything going against them, feeling frustrated, but managed to come out victorious in the end.

Precisely, being able to win tough opponents when not at his best, that says a lot about Chen Long's prowess now.
