The Chinese players have been competing in the almost 14 days lasting National Games right after the Olympics and before the Sudirman Cup.

Several players also played double duty (WYL, CYF, HDP, HBJ, HJT iirc among others) and CBA probably wants to give them a rest and prevent any more injuries from happening.

I've heard that they inject verocell vaccine (Sino pharm) and France doesn't trust verocell vaccine, so they have to quarantine for 14 days according to regulations, and so, they go home

The question is which one the real reason that forcing CHN players to skip FRA Open, hectic schedule or vaccine issue?

Including the Thomas - Uber Cups, as well as Denmark Open for some of them. The whole is overstretched, physically and mentally.

If vaccines are the issue, that's inexplicable and strange as both inactivated vaccines Sinovac and Sinopharm are approved by WHO just as those listed above, the mRNA Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and the AstraZeneca adenovirus-vectored vaccine.

Not only that , in China with 1.45 billion people, already 2.2 billion doses of Sinovac/Sinopharm were administered, around 80% of the population and they are also used in more than 100 other countries.

Sameer verma vs Lee Dong Keun's match last for approximately 1 hour for straight game victory for Sameer. I wonder how much time they took for rallies . Unfortunately, no livestreaming.
So many good matches on Day 1 but no livestreaming./

The list says EMA approved vaccines, not WHO approved vaccines. So the problem is EU side. Since EU only approved those and France only considered EU's list, whether or not they are approved by WHO is not the question.

Thanks, I understand, the EMA is the European version of the FDA. Just that I thought the WHO being the world authority should override the EMA or FDA, for that matter, but apparently it doesn't work this way.

Lee Cheuk Yiu almost blew away his chance in second game, 18-11 then 19-12 and let Antonsen seized momentum to be more pro active but it's too little to late to save the Dane from early defeat here after DEN Open second round last week.

Didn't watch the match but Antonsen seems to be out of sorts at the moment (ever since his defeat to JC in TC)

there is no news in the Danish media yet, and AA haven't shared anything on SoMe.
but based on other posts on SoMe, Youtube and interviews, he seems like he still need to process the TC loss, as it has hit him hard.
