I have to agree, I think that Tommy has a long way to go before he can get to the elite level. But I'm sick and tired of people comparing him to Taufik. Taufik won his first major tournament at 17. Even Lin Dan can't say that, he lost to Peter Gade in 99' at the All England when he was 17, and that was in the second round! So Tommy might be the future for Indonesian badminton, but Taufik might have to stay around a little longer than the olympics before Tommy is ready.

Taufik won his first international tournament (not a major) when he was 16 that was the Brunei International. Taufik lost to Peter Gade in the 1999 All England finals when he was 17.
