Im not sure 3U or 4U because I took it from a yonex fb group, never bother to ask hahaha, about ZFii grommets, no idea whether fits at NF800 or not because I dont own one..
Hmm at least some pretty decent feedback though, let's just hope that broken NF800 is just one in a thousand faulty piece. And most importantly, wait for your further review .
Tbh I wonder if by making it so solid they've made it fragile at key areas. It could very well be a lemon considering it broke at 25lbs. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
If it was the case, that guy must be one hell of unlucky dude, I guess that guy doesn't even have the chance to play with it yet. I only hoping it can takes tension for 28-29lbs in long term, just like my DZS and 88S, am I demanding too much? because there is no sinking issue with DZS given it took lots of string jobs already, and for 88S it has very slight sink frame but I can't complaint as the original Astrox grommets were sh*t, the frame remained the same until now after I changed to different set of normal grommet so no big issue.
Oh snap! I am really looking at this racket 3U as my next weapon. However, it needs to be able to hold 32/33 pounds. I hate it when a racket breaks because of a clash. I hate it even more if it is because of sinking problems. Already had that with AT900P, one of my all time favorites. My Victor SW35 though. Those are tanks! Have them for years now. Now issues at all, even after countless of stringjobs.
Can you take a pic? I have a bit of a hard time visualising your description ^^; Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk
I got both 3U,4U G5 SP NF800. without removing plastic wrap. 90 gr. Strung 3U NBG98 at 25.5LB. Played twice each 1.5 hours. feel awesome. The best smash racket I ever played (arc7, ZFI, ZFII, Dora7,10, NS3000,8000,9000s, NS9900, VT80, VT70, ZSP, NR900, NR750, AX88s, NF700) In par with ZSP, but less strengnus to the wrist, more agile. Surprisingly I only hit frame once even it is small frame. compre to NF700, much more powerful in all aspects, but lose to NF700 in fast driving. I like the sound and responsiveness of NF700 better. My goto racket ranking: NF800(3U), NF700(4U), NR750(3U), ZSP(3U), NS3000(4U), AX88S(4U) NF800(4U unstrung yet)
Sad to say I'm not really enjoying playing with NF800. I have to let it go this one. My final conclusion, it feels head light (which i don't like) and quite good power, fast frame and i'm still having problem with the timing, many missed-hits and problem exchanging between VT80E and NF800. Perhaps I am not patient enough to use this racket.
Got mine 4u g6, 27lbs bg66 ultimax Good power but head is a bit heavy unlike the review above. Letting go as i dont like head heavy rackets. PM me if interested
