Hi people, I got a pair of SHB98 recently. When I wore 98 for the first time, I am not sure is it only affect me only. But for some reason, I felt soreness on my foot. And when I wore other shoes (non-indoor/badminton shoes), I didn't feel the soreness that I experienced with the 98. Can someone tell me is the problem on me, or is it the cushioning on the shoes.

give it some time to break-in.
if it doens't help, its perhaps because this model is too narrow.
you should of ensured it was the right shoe for your feet before you bought it.

where in particular is this pain?

It's a right size for my feet becuase there were some space still left for my toes. It hurts somewhere around my toes area and heel.

theres a lot more to sizing a shoe than length.
theres width, too, and shape of the shoe, such as arch, the heel and toe box areas.

if its hurting around your toe area, maybe its perhaps your arch flattening out too far, causing your toes to spread unnaturally. try getting an insole that will support the arch in the right place to realign the bones in your feet.

the arch in the insoles that come with the shoes are too far forward, i think.
