that's not a problem, Chris. you are doing a great job for everyone. create thread as they are needed and don't stop because you think you created too many.
I am one who likes to provide info and to recieve info about Badminton . Thanks kwun, I am one who likes to provide info and to recieve info about Badminton. Some BCers say that we should teminate a thread, whenever it is getting too big. For me, having too many threads (about the same topic) could cause some confusion for our BCers. We now see that we, BCers, have different opinions. .
historically, our tournament discussion threads are separated into each day of the tournament. if that turns out to be too many threads, we can do every 2 days. but one single thread for a big tournament like TC/UC seems to be putting too many posts in one place.
. True... That was when I was starting a thread everyday whenever a BWF tournament was held (in the past). It was too time consuming for me. Anyway, let's have our other BCers do it. I shall wait for BCers to start our tournament threads (for the next few tournaments). .
Haha chris, this thread already have 119 pages now. Will be problematic for those who wants to look at posts in group stages. This time I also lazy to start new thread, didnt notice it was already 100++ pages until pcl mentioned . The last few times was cos I myself missed some action & found it tedious finding comments of earlier stages Yeah, good for other members to learn or 'train' to start new threads, they were waiting for you & kwun, lol.
Good to see two highly regarded veterans contesting the semi-final of a Thomas Cup. Mr Longevity vs Mr Dangerman
I no longer see PG playing fast and furious the past couple of months, age is beginning to take a toll on him,but he's such a phenomenon. I have great respect for both these two men.
An announcement should be made that the the thread has been moved for the Semi and Final. Anyway, there I go.
Good for other BC members to learn or 'train' to start new threads . I am going to let other BCers to start threads for BWF tournaments for the next few months. .
LCW's thread has 472 pages !! . You can reduce the number of pages by half, if you make your BC setting to 40 posts per page. .
is it possible to create a sub-thread within the LCW thread? like "Lee Chong Wei at Thomas Cup 2012"?
Will Lee Chong Wei remain World No.1 until the 2012 OG? . Of course, you can do it. But, we could end up with too many threads about LCW. I have already done one (back in 2009). And this thread is quite Big/Long too (more than a thousand posts); http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...Chong-Wei-remain-World-No.1-until-the-2012-OG .
