Surprisingly, after so many boring days of practically zero live info, they have decided to show live on Singapore TV Ch 211 StarHub the finals of the Vietnam Open at 2 pm today.

Now I've got to stay back again and sacrifice my Sunday game to watch my "monkey" in action against the fav Son of Korea in MS.

Maybe monkey tricks and experience can still confound the in-form Son but whatever I'll be rooting for TCS. It has been a long time that i saw him since his pioneering junior days at the now defunct SBA Hall at Guillemard Rd. Wonder where his Singapore "auntie" is.

Never say die and do your best, monkey. You have lots of Singaporeans behind you as well as your fellow Malaysians! Good Luck!

In any case we've got a chance to see other stars, including the much talked-about young He of China in WS.

I'm impressed by 15-year-old He BJ.

Just wonder how much taller can She grow.

He BJ is 16 I think, not 15.

She is almost similar to Japan's Yamaguchi in build and age I think. These two will be our future super stars barring any unfortunate events to their careers.

Now I see TCS with brown hair. Almost the same build as Son too.

What a performance by He Bingjiao ! Congratulations for winning her maiden title (at the adult level) in only her third tournament in her budding career.

Incredible, if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe He BJ comprehensively outplayed her more experienced and promising opponent, Hera Desi (whom I heard the commentator mentioned is 18 years old).

I really hope CBA continue to give HBJ more international exposure and look forward to seeing more of her in future.

To be fair, I believe Hera Desi can do better than that; she has good potential, to be frank, based on her recent performances.

I'm afraid Son is too consistent for TCS at this stage 11-4.

TCS must inject new focus and aggression if he wants to take back G2.

TCS isn't attacking as aggressively today as yesterday, probably aware of Son's solid retrieving ability. Too late, a mountain to climb for him, trailing so far in G2.

Yes, Son was solid and outdid TCS in both defense and attack.

But a good achievement for TCS who managed to outlast SS yesterday.

Based on what happened before, I won't be surprised He BJ's victory here may not even be mentioned in the Chinese news media, just as Tian Houwei's triumph at the recent London Open GPG wasn't reported at all (I've not come across any article mentioning it at that time).

Phew...at least the INA team returns home with a title in MD as Fran Kurniawan/Bona Septano beat the TPE young pair in 3 tight-sets: 18-21, 21-18, 21-18.

Yeah, as predicted Fran/Bona won title here, TPE pair gave tough time, rubber games with
    identical scoreline.
I'm surprised by the score, 10 & 6 for Hera Desi  Good start for He BJ to step in senior stage. Akane Yamaguchi also did it superbly to clinch SS title. Korean players ruled this final to bag 3 titles, congrats for all winners :)

I thought China is selective about the height of their national players.

Maybe He JB is not yet there with the seniors but look at her diminutive size relative to her bigger sisters, except perhaps Wang Xin, who appears to be sidelined and training to become a coach perhaps because of her injuries, and one wonders whether LYB will make an exception. Probably he will since he was pictured with He when she was very young. And of course He may be able to grow an inch taller since she's only 16 or so.
