Wow....woke up to see all 3 BD pairs progressing to R32 now. Good job for Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama and Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma in beating the 2 MAS BD pairs. Edi/Arya will face Adam Khan/Douglas Lidman while Hafiz/Eka will face the 5/8 seed Jim Middleburg/Vincent De Fries. The last pair, Felix Kinalsal/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo are up against Dominic Scherpen/Torben Trapp today. All 3 are likely to win their matches today and move on to R16. 2 rounds of XD matches are played today. I just cannot believe that they will arrange the 2nd match right after the first one! Atrocious scheduling! I hope Edi Subaktiar/Melati Daeva Oktaviani are not too tired by early afternoon! There's a good chance they may reach QF. In BS, both Reksy Aureza Megananda and Thomi Azizan Mahbub will test the 5/8 seeds Kai Schafer and Rhys Walker respectively. Hopefully, they will progress to R16. No more INA players in GS. In GD, both pairs begin their campaign today. Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyta Eka Putri Sari already face the 3/4 seed Myke Halkema/Gayle Mahulette, while Leonila Josephine/Tri Ria Maya will face Lynnlette Aung/Natalie Chan-Lam.

The presence of Korean and other higher-ranked European juniors will make it tougher for the INA players. Still, no sign of the top Korean XD pair Choi Sol Kyu/Chae Yoo Jung (bronze-medallist in WJC 2011) BS - This time, Kho Henrikho Wibowo is handed an easier draw. He should clear his first two matches till R32, where he's likely to face either the seeded Daniel Font or Koray Aysar. Only if he can reach R16, then, he will probably meet a Korean player Kwon Yong Bae. Reksy Aureza Megananda and Thomi Azizan Mahbub will also probably meet their first tough match in R32. GS - Don't expect too much. Tri Ria Maya is already scheduled to exit in the first-round as she meets Lee Jang Mi. Even if Leonila Josephine can clear the first-round, she's likely to meet another Korean Han Ga Hee in R32. BD - It's now Hafiz Faisal/Putra Eka Rhoma's turn to be facing Calvin Ong Jia Hong/Tan Wee Gieen in R64. Felix Kinalsal/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo will also face a seeded Danish pair in R32 Kasper Antonsen/Frederik Colberg. Likewise for Edi Subaktiar/Arya Maulana Aldiartama, they will be facing another seeded Danish pair Mathias Christiansen/David Daugaard. GD - Melati Daeva Oktaviani/Rosyta Eka Putri Sari will probably face the second-seed Han So Yeon/Kim Hyo Min in R16. As for Leonila Josephine/Tri Ria Maya, they will face a seeded Russian pair also in R16. XD - Edi Subaktiar/Melati Daeva Oktaviani have a relatively straight-forward route to R16, where either the second-seed Lee Chun Hei/Ngan Yi Cheung or the Korean pair Park See Woong/Yang Soo Yeon is likely to await them.
Melati-Rosyta defeated the #3/4 seed from Holland, Myke-Gayle 21-18-21-17... Uhm, the World Junior Ranking is dubious... Melati have reached R16 of the 2011 Indonesian Open Premier SS with her old partner, Ririn. Ririn is now over 18, and she is in the National Training camp. I remember Ririn-Melati was defeated by Yu Yang-Wang Xiaoli [not surprisingly]... Hahaha...
Krisna, how good is Rosyta ?? i never watch her, but her result looks quite good last year althouh she is just 14 yo (born 97 if i am not mistaken)... any comment about her ??
Thomi Azizan Mahbub maintained his championship campaign with a win over Rhys Walker the #5/8 seed from England... The final score was 21-17, 21-13.
