Shuttle played by China - looks like a flick serve.

    Arisa leaves it.

    End linejudge calls shuttle in

    Arisa challenges.

    Hawkeye says shuttle out.

Umpire says correction out, service over. Point to Japan.

Commentators say shuttle was clearly in and are wondering what's going on.

    What happened? :)

Gil probably lost train of thought while talking and didn't realise the hawkeye was for a service, confused it for a shot after service which would have been in. I remember seeing a challenge 2 years ago on short serve that was out in front but hawkeye called it in because it didn't consider the service boundaries.

She even said that it was Yuta who challenged and unsuccessful challenge did come up on the scoreboard. It is a very confusing situation without looking at everything together.

Yess, the IRS people have had training to label service or rally from that short-serve error times. It could also be that that the software now accounts for service on its own without any human intervention.

Higasino challenged, not Yuta. That is neither here nor there, the challenge-count goes to a team.

Challenge was labelled "Unsuccessful" as there is annotation error by someone in the IRS-booth. This was incorrect.
The umpire kept focus to arrive at correct decision.

The only confused people were GC and SP.
They were talking about history and missed the action.
