Wait, what? Z-Force II is LIGHTER and less stiffer? I was under the impression it was the reverse....
Could have asked nicely I hate removing and putting overgrips back, for some reason it just doesnt feel the same for me. Anyways, I did it, and new measures: Balance Point (more precise measurement than previous one): - Z-Force: 320mm - Z-Force II: 315mm Shaft diameter (measured with a vernier caliper, at the middle of the shaft): - Z-Force: 7.0mm - Z-Force II: 6.9mm Weight: - Z-Force: 86g - Z-Force II: 88g Stiffness (by feeling for now, will be more precise when I receive my stringlab): Original Z-Force seems slightly stiffer I don't know why the weights aren't coherent with previous readings, I used the same scale, which is supposed to be good quality and did multiple readings both times. Anyways, these weights make a little more sense.
Well, I bought VF2 and it's a great racket. Much better feeling than VF1. Not so head heavy. Great feeling actually!
Forgot to say that I like the new grommets quite a lot. It was very easy to string and the new grommet strips prevent the string from covering the grommets quite well.
Just finished stringing two frames...noticed during stringing, which was a pleasure, that the grommets alignment is similar to the Z-Speed so maybe it'll have the larger sweet spot as well. Strung with LiNing AP101N just because I have some, @ 26/28 #s. Will be trying them out tonight for 3 hours...one is for demo.
Has anyone here gotten the 3U alternative to this beast? I really love my 3U VTZF2 but was wondering what others may think about it
Frostbite. What are tour thoughts on the 3U alternative just by giving it some swings? Does it feels a little like your 4U VTZF? And what about your 4U VTZF2? Is is much faster and powerful than your previous VTZF?
May i know are the frame compact like zspeed or bigger? i really dont like compact head frame like zspeed, too small and look ugly
Yeah, it feels a little like z-speed as well. It's also quite similar in the aspect that either you like it or you hate it.
Some may find it demanding. But IMO, I find rackets such as 2U NRZSP and 3U VTZF 'VERY' simple to use.
