Teacher Erin, I think our friend Rian Sukmawan here is completely hopeless.. Indonesians always do direct translation.. *suicide*

I remember our dear Monkey Chun Seang also did direct translation huh? Like.. "I go dinner.. Afternoon I go shopping.."

LMAO!! :D :D Yea, you're right erin.. Not suprising, Yan.. It's hard enough to memorise all the english words, and all those tenses... And a lot more.. So, direct translation is the best!! :D :D

You were almost completely correct. I not go Euro = "Saya nggak pergi Eropa"... :p go = pergi

Well, all he needs to do is perform very VERY well in those tournaments, right? :D Then he gets to go to Denmark and France etc. I am sure Djarum wants Rian-Yoke to go to the Olympics, so they will fund him if they really see potential... But if not, then it would not make much sense to fund him on expensive overseas trips where he will just loose in the first or second round...

I think he has once in the national team until early last year, if I am not mistaken. He decided then to join his club again, Djarum. He was then partnered with Eng Hian, who also quitted from the national team in almost the same time as Rian did. Since Eng Hian then moved to Singapore, he is now paired with Yonathan Suryatama Dasuki. That's what I know.

oo, I think the reason Rian decided to quit the national training camp is he was not sent to a lot of tournaments and now with Djarum he got a lot of experiences.

He indeed looks like a Chinese. As far as I know, his father is Chinese while his mother is Original Indonesian. I think there has been a post about this in this thread before.

Rian-Yoke will play in the Indonesian Challenge next week [should be pretty highly seeded, but not yet confirmed] and the Indian Open the week after that. In India, they might meet Lee Yong Dae-Jung Jae Sung in the quarterfinals... [IMG] Let's see if they can repeat Kido-Hendra's win over the tough Koreans...

The Indian Open draw came out 2 days ago...
