I have heard from someone that the Korean National team will come to Australia Open, can anyone confirm this?

Just a repost, anyone know when and how will we be informed of whether we are selected to be volunteers?
How major or minor is the Aust Open in the scheme of things for one season? The player list that they published on the website suggests that almost all of the top players are coming! Is that likely? Really interested in taking time off work to watch my first badminton tourney if it's gonna be a field of classy players!
It looks like Korea will send only second tier team to sydney. So unfortunately at this stage we have no chance seeing LYD and company
Also at this stage there is no sign of CHN big names such as LD CL or CJ or CY/FHF participating on the event.
But for INA fans out there, the good news is there is a good chance the one and only Taufik Hidayat as well as front man maestro Hendra Setiawan and his partner Markis Kido will come to Sydney to try and win the event.
Is there any reason I got an email from the volunteering organiser people saying that i hadn't submitted any dates when I have? Contacted the guy but not had a reply and wondered whether it was just me...

The 2012 version of this event will have easily the best field assembled since the Aussie Intl regained GP or GPG status. Entrants list available on BWF website. It makes for some amazing reading! Very jealous of the NSW'ers getting this event in their backyard.
Yeah..she lives in Mascot, sydney ...rich husband and 1 baby... so she is a stay home Mum....how niceWe are trying to get her to play again ...possibly for NSW
Hi, just an update. Today we had the flooring installed in Hall 4 of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. Then we laid out the 6 practice courts and the 5 main tournament courts. The court surface for the main tournament courts are green and are each in four pieces - zipped together using a special zip. The practice courts - 5 of them are blue each in 3 pieces and the 6th one is green - similar to the main courts but without the zipper. It was a big effort from the volunteers who helped to lay out the courts and then to put them together, line them up etc. Still a lot of work to do tomorrow - waiting for the court surface to settle, then roll out the air pockets - continue velcro-ing any practice courts that need connecting, then place the posts and the nets. Lots of work to do - anyone coming to volunteer - please come and say hello and ask what you can help with. -John
. You are doing some great work, John. Unfortunately, I am unable to come to Sydney to assist in setting up for this tournament. I hope everything will run smoothly. I shall catch up with you, perhaps in another Junior Tournament in Melbourne, within the next few months. Keep us updated with news from Sydney. .
