Imagine being an inspiration of So many great shuttlers and doing full justice to PRESTIGE of an OLYMPIC CHAMPION.

Nowadays, Chen Hong is more in news than Chen Long.

Man, you shouldnt throw so much hate at an all-time great, he is struggling, but even a struggling Chen Long is good enough for a Worlds Bronze, you can't write off players like him man,

Actually, Steen Pedersen mentioned in Chen Long's Worlds Semifinal this year that Chen Long's Rio performance was actually found to be the best performance by any player ever, according to statistical analysis taken by the Danes, above ALL of the other players. Chen Long beat LCW playing his best ever level, not even LD can boast that, because he lost to him in Rio

Write off? You don't go on losing in the first round of Denmark Open and then again losing in the first round of French Open being in your absolute PRIME, OLYMPIC CHAMPION, CHINESE MS1....

LCW lost in first round of All England 2016, goes on to win Olympic Silver, LD won that same All England, and goes home empty handed, everyone loses, LD lost to Son Wan Ho in 2017 Japan Open, and quite badly too, LCW lost to Nishimoto badly in France, I don't see anyone writing these two off, why can't Chen Long get the same treatment, he is in that class

LD lost a lot of matches in his absolute prime as well, when he was Olympic Champion
2010 Worlds, was hella dominant that year, he had no business losing to Park Sung Hwan, he didn't win anything including All England, but he overcame all of that, I expect the same out of a great player like Chen Long

What Stats? Points Won? Games lost? Average speed? Maximum Speed? Distance Covered? Domination Ratio?

Steen Pedersen infamously mentioned Lin Dan's 3.6 million weibo followers as

36 million weibo followers. He is wrong a lot of times.

LCW's best ever level is World Championships 2011 followed by All England 2011. Nice try.

Steen Pedersen is a highly respected figure in Badminton, he coached so many world class players to greatness like Camilla Martin, Peter Gade, Jonas Rasmussen, Tine Baun, I can go on and on, I mean, this guy is a legend in the field, and you are passing him off as a hack because he put a decimal place in the wrong place? I can't believe you man

But He Showed His Absolute Peak in Thomas Cup 2010 tormenting the likes of Dato Lee Chong Wei and later on completing his Career Grand Slam by dominating a certain very Powerful Lee Chong Wei in Asian Games Men's Singles Final.

Commentator Morten Frost (during WC 2010) : LIN Dan has raised the level of MS once again after his showings IN Thomas Cup 2010.

That's peaking two times Monstrously in the same year.

And still the GOAT couldn't do it when it mattered most, at the Worlds, does that ruin his prestige in any way? No. The prestige of winning an Olympic Gold stays no matter what happens afterwards. Class is permanent, that is all I am saying

He said, "I played better than I did in all the World Championships and Olympics, but Chen Long was better"

That is a joke. He was playing better in 2011 WC and 2012 OG than at Rio.

I think Thomas Cup(Glory of Motherland) and Asian Games(glory of completing the first ever Career Grand Slam ) were the only priority of Lin Dan that year.

Chinese Badminton Expert @volcom confirmed this.

If he himself feels he was better, I don't know who has the right to say anything different

And tell me again why I should take 100 percent of the "Danes"'s analysis as the truth?
